Planetary22 is a mobile app that connects the virtual world with the real one through engaging Treasure Hunt challenges. Players collect virtual 3D items, compete with each other and win real prizes.

The app is available on Android and iOS devices.

The app is available on Google Play and the App Store. Just search for "Planetary22" and tap the download button.

Yes, downloading and using the app is free. Some features, however, may be available as in-app purchases.

Playbux are the virtual currency of the Planetary22 app. You use them to buy new clothes and accessories for your avatar, Potions in the virtual spaces or Boosters for specific Treasure Hunts.

You can earn Playbux while playing Treasure Hunts, because Playbux items are always found in the spaces where Treasure Hunt items are collected – so how many Playbux you gather in the spaces is up to you.

You can win Treasure Hunts in which the prize is a pool of Playbux set out in the Treasure Hunt. By completing some Challenges you can earn the game currency. You also receive Playbux for logging in to the app every day, as a Daily Reward – the amount depends on how many days in a row you have logged in.

Playbux can also be bought in the shop as Playbux Packs.

Open the Playbux shop by tapping the counter with the Playbux picture at the top of the screen. Then simply choose the Playbux pack you are interested in, tap it and buy it.

If you bought a Playbux pack but did not receive it in the app, follow these steps:

• Refresh the app – ideally close it and open it again; it may be a connection problem!
• If you still do not see the coins, make sure everything went well with the payment. Go to the website of your bank, PayPal or the payment method you used and make sure the payment was successful.
• If you have done all of the above and the payment was made, the problem may lie with the app store – in that case check your payments in the Play Store / App Store.
• If you still do not know what the problem is, describe the situation using our contact page. We will look into your case as quickly as possible.

• It prevents other people from seeing you in incognito mode, which you can turn on while you are in the virtual spaces.
• As a VIP, every reward you receive in the app is increased by 20%.
• Some Treasure Hunts are open only to Premium holders.
• Some Treasure Hunts may start and end later for Premium holders.

Open the Premium shop by tapping the Playbux counter at the top of the screen. Then choose the Premium package you are interested in, tap it and buy it.

If you bought a Premium package but did not receive it in the app, follow these steps:

• Refresh the app – ideally close it and open it again; it may be a connection problem!
• If you still do not see it, make sure everything went well with the payment. Go to the website of your bank, PayPal or the payment method you used and make sure the payment was successful.
• If you have done all of the above, the payment went through and you still do not have the package, the problem may lie with the app store – in that case check your payments in the Play Store / App Store.
• If you still do not know what the problem is, describe the situation using our contact page. We will look into your case as quickly as possible.

Treasure Hunts are challenges in which players collect virtual 3D items and compete for prizes.

Worker – players have to collect a set number of 3D items. The faster they do it, the better their chance of winning a prize, because the number of prizes is limited.

Champion – players compete for prizes by taking the top places in the ranking. Usually a set number of the best players receive prizes, and the others may get consolation prizes.

You can check everything in the app, in the Treasure Hunt tab. Open it by tapping the blue Chest in the bottom right corner, or by tapping the Burger Menu and then Treasure Hunt in the expanded menu. When you open the Treasure Hunt tab, you will see all the challenges available right now, and by scrolling down the list you can check when the next ones start.

The Treasure Hunt tab is made up of small Treasure Hunt tiles that expand when tapped and contain all the information about the challenge. On an expanded Treasure Hunt tile you can check:

• information about the prize to be won
• a description of how to win the prize and what is required
• which 3D item you will need to collect during the challenge – it is shown above the Treasure Hunt tile
• how long the challenge lasts and how many prizes can be won
• the rules of the challenge
• a link to the website of the challenge partner

When you complete a Worker Treasure Hunt, right after you collect the last required item a Winning Popup appears on the screen with congratulations and information about your prize.

If the Treasure Hunt prize was, for example, a discount code, you will see it in a dedicated field, where you can copy it and go straight to the website on which you can redeem it.

If the Treasure Hunt prize is a product, after you tap the “Claim reward” button we will ask you to fill in a form with your shipping address. We do everything we can to make sure your prize reaches the address you gave us within 30 days.

If you are in the app when a Champion Treasure Hunt ends, once the challenge time is up a Winning Popup will appear on the screen with congratulations and information about your prize.

If you happen to be outside the app when the Treasure Hunt ends, you will receive a push notification from us about the end of the challenge and about your win. Open the app and the Winning Popup should appear right away on the start screen. If it does not, go to the Treasure Hunt tab and check your latest win in the “Your Hunts” section at the bottom of the screen. There you will find all your wins, saved from left to right, starting with the most recently won Treasure Hunt.

In the “Your Hunts” section you will also find all the Treasure Hunts that you did not win but in which you were awarded a consolation prize for taking part. Check those prizes too, because they are just as valuable.

Players can buy special potions that give them an advantage in the game. Potions can be bought from the potion sellers found in every space, or by tapping "+" on the Booster bar on the left side of the phone screen.

Potions are divided into:

• Helpers – temporarily increase your movement speed or add a bonus to the number of items you collect. Potions of this kind can be bought and kept on the Booster bar, and then used at the moment that suits you best.
• Hindrances – can be used to make the game harder for other players, e.g. by slowing down their character or limiting the visibility of Treasure Hunt (TH) items. Potions of this kind can be bought and kept on the Booster bar, and then used at the moment that suits you best. When you use the Potion, your avatar throws the bottle forward; the Potion smashes on the ground and spills over a visible range. The avatars of all other players within the splash range receive the hindrance assigned to that particular potion, for the duration given in its description.

Hindrances placed on your avatar can be removed instantly for a payment in Playbux.

• Cosmetic potions – add unique elements to the look of a player's avatar, e.g. light effects, new outfits or special animations. You can buy potions of this kind for yourself or for another player. When buying from a potion seller or through the Booster bar, after choosing the potion you have to pick, from the list of available players, the one you want to buy it for.

The game offers various mechanics that make collecting items easier or harder, which players can pick up while collecting Treasure Hunt items, such as:

• Rockets – can be used to take away another player's collected items. When you use Rockets, you fire 3 homing missiles that follow players. When a missile reaches its target, it takes 1 item from that player in the currently active Treasure Hunt in which they have collected the most items. You can run away from an incoming Rocket, because it only lasts for a limited time.
• Bomb – can be used to take away other players' collected items. When you use a Bomb, you place it under your avatar's feet and the countdown to the explosion starts automatically. The blast range is visible around the active Bomb; when the timer reaches the explosion point, the avatars of all other players inside the detonation area lose 1 item from the currently active Treasure Hunt in which they have collected the most items. You can avoid losing an item by running out of the blast range before the detonation.
• Speed – gives your avatar a temporary movement bonus. You get the bonus by stepping onto the Speed Arrows placed around the virtual spaces.
• Shield – can be used to defend yourself against attacks from other players or from a creature in the virtual space. After you activate the Shield on the Booster bar, a cover appears around your avatar that protects it from Rockets, the Bomb, a Creature attack and even Potions thrown by others. The Shield protects the player from all attacks for as long as it lasts.
• x2 – can be used to temporarily double the number of items you collect.
• Nitro – can be used to make your avatar instantly leap far forward, letting you dodge other players' attacks or reach a Treasure Hunt item whose time is running out.

Most spaces are home to between one and several Creatures, such as the Pink Dolphin or the Magic Deer, which despite their looks are not for petting. They are aggressive little beasts which, protecting their territory, will every so often start an attack phase and charge at the players nearest to them until the aggressive phase ends. After that a calm phase begins and the Creature returns to its starting position. When a Creature catches the target of its attack, it takes 1 item from that player in the Treasure Hunt in which they have collected the most items.

When a Creature picks you as the target of its attack, you will notice an alert at the top of the screen. You can avoid the attack by trying to run away from the Creature (as you move away, it may pick another Player closer to it as its target) until its attack phase ends, or you can use a Shield and let the Creature reach you – it will not take your item and will break off the chase.

Planetary22 uses algorithms that even out players' chances, so that new and less advanced participants are able to compete and win prizes. These mechanisms include:

Starting bonus – the system kicks in when any participant of a Champion Treasure Hunt reaches the threshold of 1000 items. From then on, every new player gets a chance to start the Treasure Hunt with a temporary item-collecting bonus for a set time, or with an instant bonus in the form of Treasure Hunt items already owned.

Temporary item-collecting bonus – every player can activate a temporary item-collecting bonus in a Champion Treasure Hunt. The size of the bonus, its duration and its cost depend on the player's place in the ranking. The lower you are in the ranking, the more favorable the bonus you can activate.

Users can personalize their avatar using various options, such as:

Buying clothes and accessories – players can earn or buy new elements of their avatar's look.

Visual effects – adding unique animations or skins.

Exclusive items – the chance to unlock unique items for in-game achievements, e.g. winning the main prize in a Treasure Hunt competition.

Inviting friends to a space.

You can party with your friends in the same club. Just send them an invitation to your club using the invite button available on the user list.

The microphone at the bottom of the screen lets you communicate with other players in real time through voice chat. You can talk to other players who are close to your avatar; those who are further away will hear you less clearly or not at all. If a player is saying something, you can tell by the sound waves shown under their avatar – the white ring on the ground ripples. You can turn the microphone on and off by tapping the microphone icon at the bottom of the screen. When the microphone is crossed out, it is turned off, so nobody in the space can hear you.
